Meet Our Team
Gifts4Orphans was founded in 2018 by a group of high school students and focused on assisting one orphanage in Kazakhstan. In 2019, the project got registered as a nonprofit organization. Under the new management of Anthony Novokshanov, Gifts4Orphans partnered with the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America in 2022, Georgia Branch, and began to organize fundraisers to help Ukrainian people who suffered from the war. Anthony Novokshanov
Co-Founder & President
Anthony is the co-founder and a current president for the organization. He is responsible for organizing and executing office duties, planning fundraisers, overseeing company budget, and working with liaison in Kazakhstan and Ukrainian Congress.

Katherine Steckel
Co-Founder & Vice President
Katherine serves as the Vice President for Gifts4Orphans while doing a BS in Business at UGA. She works closely with Anthony to manage daily operations, coordinate fundraising efforts, and ensure effective communication with partners.

Andrew Novokshanov
Co-Founder & Board Member
Andrew played a significant role in the founding and early development of Gifts4Orphanse. While he is not currently involved in the day-to-day operations, his legacy and contributions continue to inspire our mission.

Gregory Steckel
Co-Founder & Board Member
Greg was instrumental in the creation and initial growth of Gifts4Orphans. Although he is no longer actively involved in our activities, completing his major at UGA, his vision remains at the heart of our work.

Maxim Rudkovskiy
Liaison in Kazakhstan
Maxim acts as a liaison with the orphanage administration. He establishes the needs of the orphanage, distributes finances, and purchases and delivers donations.

Liaison with Ukraine Congress Committee
Nataliia Onyskiv, President of Georgia Branch of the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, acts as a liaison with the Ukrainian community in Georgia.

Sophia is the Volunteer Coordinator at Gifts4Orphans, leading efforts to recruit and manage volunteers for our programs. She is also responsible for arranging outreach projects in Forsyth County schools (GA), helping to engage students and educators in our mission.
