Spring 2018 Fundraiser

Two successful money drives raised a total of $610 to support the orphanage in Kazakhstan. The first drive collected $200, which was used to purchase a much-needed vacuum cleaner to help maintain a clean living environment for the children. The second drive raised $410, providing essential supplies such as diapers, food, and clothes, ensuring the children's basic needs were met with care and comfort.

Fall 2018 Fundraiser

We raised $320 to support the orphanage in Kazakhstan. The funds were used to purchase vital medical supplies, ensuring the children had access to basic healthcare needs. Additionally, oil-filled heaters were bought to keep the orphanage warm during the colder months, creating a safer and more comfortable environment for the children.

Spring 2019
Gifts for Kids in Moscow

As a current Vice President, Katherine Steckel joined a new Russian orphanage. The team collected books, clothes, toys, small electronics, and sweets to send to our dear friends in the Russian orphanage.

Fall 2019 Fundraiser

In Fall 2019, Gifts4Orphans team raised money to pay for shipping and buy requested items: Lego toys, clothing, and small electronics.

Spring 2020 Fundraiser

Another successful drive in spring of 2020! The team collected more toys, clothing, and small electronics to send to the orphanage in Moscow.

Fall 2020 Fundraiser

In Fall 2020, the team managed to collect $310 through a rocking garage sale. All the money was sent to the orphanage in Moscow.

We collaborated with Ukrainian Congress Committee of America in the Summer 2022 International Culture Fest in Atlanta, GA to spread awareness about Russia-Ukrainian war.

We Stand with Ukraine

The Gifts4Orphans team organized a Ukraine fundraising event at McGinnis Woods Country Day School's Fall Festival in October 2022. Together with the Ukraine Congress Committee of America, GA Branch, we raised $1,215 to send as a humanitarian effort to help Ukrainian civilians who suffered from the Russian war.

Fall 2022 Language Expo at Georgia State University

The Gifts4Orphans team organized a Ukraine awareness and fundraising event at GSU's Language Expo at Dunwoody's Perimeter College campus on November 10, 2022. The event raised more than $500 dollars and brought a lot of support from GSU student community!

Spring of Smiles

In spring 2023, we had a huge project to collect used toys and send them to our orphanage in Kazakshan! Thanks to our friends at McGinnis Woods Country Day School, we collected A LOT OF toys, packed them in four huge boxes. All the toys have arrived, and the kids are happy to play with them!

Jewels of Joy

Through the Jewels of Joy project, handmade jewelry was crafted and sold to raise over $250, which was used to send parcels filled with toys to the orphanage in Kazakhstan.

Warm Steps for Orphans

The team successfully raised over $1,000, which was used to install new carpets on the second floor of the orphanage, providing a warmer and more comfortable living environment for the children. All funds were transferred directly to the orphanage, ensuring that the project had an immediate and meaningful impact.

Pathway to Accessibility

The Pathway to Accessibility project raised $1,200 to fund the construction of an accessibility ramp, making it easier for disabled children and strollers to navigate the grounds. The ramp was installed over a heating pipe, ensuring safe and easy access for those with mobility challenges.
